I’m Myles Crockem, a Computer Science graduate from LSU who loves turning ideas into real, working software. I enjoy solving tough problems, exploring new technologies, and building tools that make a difference. Thanks for coming to my site, please look around and get to know a little about who I am :)

React | TypeScript | JavaScript | PHP | SQL | API Development | Agile Development | Debugging | UI/UX | Prompt Engineering | Cross-Functional Collaboration
At Golinks, I contributed to GoSearch, an AI-powered enterprise search platform. From my first day, I was shipping code to production and working on features that had a direct impact on users. The experience gave me hands-on exposure to agile development in a fast-paced startup environment, where I learned to collaborate effectively within an engineering team and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
Contributions
Frontend (React | JSX | JavaScript | CSS):
Enhanced GoSearch Chrome Extension UI, fixing cropped menus, styling inconsistencies, and onboarding flows
Implemented table pagination and filtering features for large datasets
Added graceful error handling and improved feedback UI for better user experience
Improved search result formatting and highlighting, including fixes for queries with quotes, special characters, and auto-fill edge cases
Contributed to responsive design improvements, ensuring consistent behavior across browsers and screen sizes
Backend (PHP | SQL | API Development):
Built and validated API key authentication for connected applications and services
Designed and optimized SQL queries and schema changes to support new features
Fine-tuned prompt engineering and function calls powering backend AI services
Developed backend logic for workspace permissions, task management, and connector integrations
AI Specialization:
AI Chart & Table Generation → Led an intern project enabling AI to generate tables and charts with export/copy functionality across multiple formats, improving data accessibility for end users
AI-Powered Screen Sharing → Built a screen sharing prototype for assisted prompting of GoAI
React Native | TypeScript | Expo | Figma | UI/UX Design | Public Speaking | Team Collaboration
The Catch is a mobile dating app developed for LSU’s Software Systems Development course, designed to challenge traditional dating norms by matching each user with one person per week. Built with React Native and TypeScript, and designed in Figma.
This was a semester project that followed a product development life cycle with ideation, proposal, design, implementation, and presentation.
Pitched to investors, professionals, and classmates. The Catch placed second overall in execution, value proposition, and fundability
Contributions
(Team of 6)
Designed Figma layouts for home, chat, and settings screens
Developed the frontend of the chat screen in the Expo app
Led concept design and presentation management
Pitched to investors, professionals, and peers, placing 2nd overall in execution, value proposition, and fundability
